I'm working with a leading FinTech that's investing heavily in technology and modernising its platform. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Java Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on business-critical products and large-scale platform transformation.
This is an opportunity to work on modern, cloud-native applications, collaborate with experienced engineers and gain exposure to AI-assisted development tools, helping shape the way software is built across the business.

What you'll be doing
Designing, building and maintaining scalable applications using Java and modern engineering practices
Contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support
Collaborating with Product, Engineering and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions
Using AI-assisted development and automation tools to improve testing, documentation and delivery
Championing clean code, automated testing, security and continuous improvement
Supporting production systems while helping drive platform reliability and performance
What they're looking for
You'll ideally have experience with:
Java and Spring Boot
Modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD and automated testing
Frontend technologies such as JavaScript or TypeScript (or an interest in working across the stack)
Agile ways of working and collaborative product teams
Most importantly, they're looking for engineers who are curious, enjoy learning new technologies and want to help build high-quality software in a modern engineering environment.
