Salary: £50,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:
Significant commercial experience developing backend applications in Python.
Proven expertise within AWS cloud environments.
Strong understanding of database technologies, including PostgreSQL and SQL or NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB.
Experience building and supporting production-grade backend services.
Comfort in a hands-on development environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a product-focused mindset.
Experience working in Agile software development teams.
Familiarity with DynamoDB.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging patterns.
Experience developing microservices and distributed systems.
Exposure to CRM platforms or customer service applications.
Product-minded, focused on delivering tangible business value.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong communicator able to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Passionate about building robust, scalable cloud-native applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
Build scalable APIs and event-driven services that support customer-facing applications.
Develop and optimise data solutions within AWS cloud environments.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and frontend teams to deliver new platform capabilities.
Contribute to architecture decisions and establish best practises for a strategic service.
Support continuous improvement, automation, and engineering excellence across the team.
Engage in Agile ceremonies and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
