The Role

We are seeking a driven and competitive Sales Development Rep to join an established sales team in Belfast.

This is an outbound lead generation and appointment-setting role , focused on identifying new business opportunities, qualifying prospects and booking qualified meetings for the Business Development Manager (BDM) team.

You will be responsible for creating new sales opportunities rather than closing deals, playing a key role in building the pipeline and supporting the wider sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers and identify new opportunities.
• Research and qualify prospective customers.
• Generate leads and book qualified meetings for the BDM team.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
• Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly activity and meeting targets.
• Manage callbacks, follow-ups and prospect activity.
• Identify customer needs and ensure relevant information is passed to the BDM team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
• Track key KPIs, including outbound calls, meetings booked and qualified opportunities.
• Work closely with the BDM team and wider sales function to support business growth.

About You

• Previous experience in sales development, telesales, outbound sales or appointment setting.
• Experience within the telecoms sector would be desirable.
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
• Confident making outbound calls and engaging with new prospects.
• Strong IT skills, with previous CRM experience.
• Target-driven, competitive and motivated by earning potential.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Organised, resilient and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.

• £27,500 basic salary.
• OTE £38,000+. Uncapped commission.
