Job Description
The Automotive Aftermarket technical training department for Robert Bosch Ltd is located at the class-leading Bosch Training facility in Denham. The role is ideal for any individual with experience in training coordination with customer focus.
The IMI accredited Bosch Service Training Centre is primarily responsible for delivering training programmes designed to provide independent vehicle workshops with the core skills required to be successful in today’s complex and dynamic automotive market. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a successful team for a global company.
Key Responsibilities
Promote the Bosch Service Training portfolio to increase course uptake, customer retention, and revenue.
Support the development of sales plans and contribute to achieving departmental revenue targets.
Act as a key point of contact for customers, managing course enquiries and maintaining ongoing engagement.
Liaise with customers, suppliers and stakeholders to support the planning, scheduling and successful delivery of training programmes.
Collaborate with internal departments (UK and global) to align training solutions with broader business objectives.
Oversee the coordination of training events at the Bosch Service Training Centre and nationwide locations.
Manage logistical requirements for regional training delivery across the UK and Ireland.
Allocate and manage resources to ensure efficient and effective course delivery.
Ensure accurate system updates relating to delegates and training records via internal systems and LMS platforms.
Support internal finance processes including invoicing, cost tracking, and revenue reporting.
Monitor performance metrics including course utilisation, customer acquisition, and conversion rates.
Contribute to forecasting and reporting activities to support strategic planning.
Manage pre and post-course administration activities to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Support the Training Manager with operational and commercial initiatives.
Maintain high standards of communication with delegates and organisations on a daily basis.
Qualifications
18+ age due to safeguarding
Strong customer engagement and relationship skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Experience with CRM, database systems or SAP is desirable.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
Full UK driving licence
Additional Information
Apprentice will be studying towards Business Administration apprenticeship level 3 .
Full time in the office.
£25,000 per annum plus bonus scheme
To be eligible for an apprenticeship, you must:
Be a UK citizen or have proof of your right to work in the UK.
Have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years or more.
If you are not a UK or EEA citizen, you must have resided in the UK for the last 3 years .
To apply for the programme, participants cannot:
Be enrolled in full-time education
Be currently participating in another apprenticeship programme
Be currently pursuing another qualification that is government-funded
Participants will need to provide evidence of level 2 qualification in Maths & English at GCSE grade C or equivalent* or work towards obtaining these throughout the programme. If candidates don't have these qualification certificates, they will be supported in:
Locating their certificates through a 3rd party company
and/or
Achieving Level 2 through additional coaching
If participants are in the UK on the EU settlement scheme , their ‘visa’ needs to cover the whole period of the apprenticeship. They also require an employment contract that covers the whole period of the apprenticeship.
