Abot the role As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (known internally as a Maintenance Electrician) at or Warnham site, yo will be part of or hands on inhose team who keep the plant rnning by ensring the eqipment rns smoothly.
From trobleshooting to planned preventive maintenance (PPM), yo will be hands-on with specialist machinery, ensring everything rns like clockwork. It's a dynamic role where problem-solving skills and technical expertise are sed daily, and yo will be a key player contribting to the efficiency and reliability of or prodction processes.
Or engineers have a varied role, so yo'll get the chance to se a variety of electrical skills associated with being an electrician and service engineer.

- Install and maintaining all electrical & electro-mechanical plant eqipment or machinery
- Operating a preventative electrical maintenance system
- Falting finding and repairs
- Program Siemens & other programmable logic controllers (PLC's)
- se varios types of testing eqipment to locate and remedy falts
- Promote Lean thinking
- Attend breakdowns
- Contribte to safe systems of work (SSOW) docmentation
- Adhere to Wienerberger's qality system & standards in accordance with BSEN ISO 91

This position is based at or Warnham site, which is near to Horsham, and Kingsfold, easily commtable from Crawley, Haywards Heath, Brgess Hill, and Worthing.

Safety is or biggest priority, so yo'll be committed to safe working and have strong experience of health and safety best practice.
Yo'll enjoy working in a bsy environment where yo can roll yor sleeves p and get hands-on, and being flexible and able to adapt to the different daily priorities will enable the factory to contine to rn efficiently.
As this role is sometimes physically demanding, yo'll be fit enogh to perform yor varios dties.
Yo'll also have - Strong team playing skills
- Good commnication (written and verbal)
- Good working knowledge of environment, health, and safety (EHS) processes
- Analytical & problem-solving skills
- Diagnostics experience of electrical motors and pnematics
- Experience and knowledge of PLCs (programmable logic controllers)
Desirable - 17th / 18th edition qalified (althogh training cold be provided)
- Completed a hands-on apprentice training programme
- HNC or HND qalification (or eqivalent)
- Experience in heavy indstry manfactring
