Job Summary:
As a Senior Process Engineer in the Process Engineering team, you will design and improve operational journeys that drive exceptional customer outcomes. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions and embed risk and controls into every process. Your work will shape how processes are designed end-to-end, improving quality, consistency, and effectiveness across the organization. • Partner with Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, Controls, Compliance, and Legal to align on requirements and delivery timelines
  • Lead delivery of process engineering workstreams, planning work, managing dependencies, and driving decisions in an agile environment
  • Embed risk and controls into process designs by identifying operational and regulatory risks early and ensuring appropriate controls are built in
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, root cause investigation, and feedback loops to simplify, standardize, and automate processes
  • Mentor and support junior engineers through coaching, design reviews, and sharing best practices
  • Champion a customer-centric approach in all process designs
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive team culture
  • Contribute to initiative leadership as needed
  • Communicate clearly and build alignment with senior partners across business and technology

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Strong process design expertise with experience mapping complex operations and customer journeys (BPMN 2.0; Signavio or similar tooling)
  • Ability to build alignment and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Comfortable organizing work, prioritizing, managing dependencies, and driving outcomes autonomously
  • Understanding of operational risk and how to build compliant, well-controlled processes
  • Critical thinking and continuous improvement orientation
  • Mentorship and team-first mindset
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
  • Strong knowledge of retail banking products and operational servicing
  • Experience working within agile product delivery environments
  • Strong analytical capability and structured decision-making
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading workstreams or cross-functional initiatives
  • Working knowledge of AI and its application in financial services
  • Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Success delivering complex cross-functional change initiatives
  • Calm under pressure, balancing pace with quality and control
  • Confident challenging decisions while maintaining strong relationships
Why Join Us?
You'll help shape the future of digital banking, strengthen team capability, and improve process quality and consistency. Your contributions will reduce design defects, foster trusted partnerships, and drive a culture of ownership and continuous improvement within Process Engineering.
