At Holcim UK, we're finding new ways to make construction more sustainable, innovative and ready for the future. From homes and schools to hospitals and major infrastructure, what we do helps shape the places people live, work and grow.
With more than 4,000 colleagues across over 200 sites in the UK, you'll be joining a team that's making a real difference every day.
This isn't just about learning a trade. It's about gaining real skills, working with people who know their stuff and playing your part in building a more sustainable future.
Get Hands On Love figuring out how things work? Enjoy getting stuck into practical challenges? Want a career where you're doing, learning and earning from day one?
Then come and build your future with Holcim UK.
As a Mechanical Apprentice, you'll get hands on with seriously impressive heavy machinery, learning from experienced engineers and developing the skills to keep our plants running safely and efficiently.
Get stuck in from day one You'll be working alongside experienced engineers, getting hands on with real machinery and learning how things work in the real world.
You'll build practical skills in maintenance, fault finding and problem solving, while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
Every day will bring something different. You'll have the chance to learn, ask questions, try things out and build your confidence as you go.
And because you'll be learning on the job, you'll see the impact of what you do straight away.
Who are we looking for? You don't need to know everything about mechanical engineering already.
We're looking for people who are curious, practical and enjoy working things out. If you're the kind of person who likes getting stuck into a problem, understanding how things work and finding a way to fix them, we'd love to hear from you.
You'll also have the opportunity to show us what you can do through a practical skills assessment, giving you the chance to demonstrate your natural ability and problem solving skills.
Ready to build something bigger? You'll earn while you learn, gain a recognised qualification and build real experience that can take you wherever you want to go.
Your career starts here. Come build it with Holcim UK. We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
