As the successful Process Engineer you will be responsible for tracking key process parameters used to optimise performance as well as processing data, regularly monitoring the parameters relating to plant operation. On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Process Engineer will include (not exhaustive):
Conducting process studies/audits and generating reports as required to identify improvements and cost saving opportunities
Making recommendations for modifications on various control parameters and processes
Ensuring process checks are scheduled and completed as per departmental objectives
Identifying power reduction projects and continually improving and optimising the plant to reduce power
Optimising fuel consumption and prioritising the increased use of alternative fuels and alternative raw materials
Be the site "expert" in process related issues
Liaising with the Central Industrial Performance team regarding process issues
Maintaining and improving Health Safety and Environmental standards
Providing process engineering input to capital projects
