Your core responsibilities will include: Ensure high-quality technical delivery of projects and tasks, including design, calculations, and drawing support. Undertake building surveys and provide appraisals with recommendations for remedial solutions. Manage small project fees and resources to ensure commercial success. Act as point of contact for client and contractor queries. Minimise health and safety risks and promote Pick Everard staff competencies. Collaborate with project teams and mentor junior engineers. Integrate sustainable engineering practices into projects and commit to ongoing professional development. Compliance with Health & Safety requirements, practices and procedures.

Our ideal Structural Engineer must have: Minimum BSc/BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering; MSc/MEng preferred. Incorporated Engineer or Near Chartered Engineer (ICE or IStructE), or approaching membership, with relevant UK experience. Strong technical problem-solving, risk management, and knowledge of UK design standards, codes, and construction methods. Experienced with structural analysis, design, 3D modelling, and software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across written, visual, and in-person interactions. Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and juggle multiple tasks. Site visit experience and a collaborative approach, engaging with internal and external teams.
