Cellular Origins

Cell therapies have been shown to cure devastating diseases like cancer by reprogramming a patient’s own immune system, offering hope where there was none before. Giving more patients access to these life-saving therapies requires a revolution in manufacturing and process automation.

Cellular Origins is leading this revolution. Our proprietary technology tackles the challenges of large-scale production with an elegant robotic automation system that cuts costs, reduces labour, eliminates human error, and boosts efficiency.

Job Description

This is a great opportunity to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of the Cellular Origins’ Constellation system.

As a Test and Development Engineer, you’ll sit at the heart of product delivery, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to bring our vision to life through development, integration, and rigorous testing. You’ll help to ensure our robots and automated systems meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance.

Working together with design teams, you will initially be focused on development and integration of our system elements, creating test strategies, plans and protocols running procedures, and evaluating performance to ensure functionality, performance and reliable operation. Your experience working with mechatronics systems will help you to diagnose faults, provide feedback to the design team and recommend solutions.

In the longer term, you will transition to more formal verification of our system elements, generating protocols, managing changes, maintaining traceability, overseeing verification activities and writing reports. Your attention to detail and strong documentation will make you key to successful system verification and release.

This is somewhere to really make your mark, working in a technically challenging and impact-driven venture, with bright and committed peers, to define the future of cell therapy manufacturing.
